The all new Nd7 Moving Magnet cartridge has been in development for over 10 years and promises next level performance in moving magnet technology. The Nd range (patent pending) is the world’s first to use ultra strong neodymium magnets in a moving magnet design, allowing us to develop this totally unique design.

Next Level Moving Magnet

Each Nd7 is carefully hand crafted by our highly skilled technicians. The Nd7 uses our most advanced ‘Fine Line’ nude diamond profile for the ultimate in detail reproduction. (The same profile is used on our high-end MC models Apheta 3 and Aphelion 2.) This profile has an exceptionally small radius monocrystalline man-made diamond, with the smallest radius being just 3 µm (micrometers) when viewed from above and 30 µm vertically when viewed from the front. This profile allows for instant adaptation to very small changes in the vinyl due to the diamond’s small contact area, resulting in exceptional detail reproduction. The design uses a brand new generator geometry with perfect symmetry to achieve highly precise channel balance. The Nd7 also has an optimized pole pitch for superior linearity and crosstalk characteristics, providing a far wider soundstage than previous models. This new cartridge is manufactured using miniaturized parallel coils wound in-house using 38 micron wire with only 1275 turns, creating a low inductance, low impedance generator that offers significantly improved high frequency response. In line with our commitment to sustainability, the Nd range is supplied in 100% recyclable packaging.
