\nThe foundation is a meticulously developed multi-sandwich enclosure<\/strong> with an asymmetrical design. Inside, a high-strength honeycomb core combined with multiplex plywood ensures maximum stability, while an outer shell made of glass-elastomer composite material guarantees superior internal damping. This unique structure effectively minimizes cabinet resonances \u2013 creating the perfect basis for pure, unadulterated sound. <\/span><\/p>\n

Chassis generation with new materials and possibilities<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe new CARDEAS also sets new standards in sound: all drivers \u2013 from the tweeter to the mid-bass drivers \u2013 have been completely redesigned. Of particular note is the newly developed diaphragm material<\/strong> : a special carbon matrix fabric (RECOTec)<\/strong> that combines extreme rigidity with high internal damping \u2013 for maximum precision, impressive dynamics, and exceptional transparency. <\/span><\/p>\n

Adaptability without compromise \u2013 with Q-SET<\/strong><\/span>
\nAnother key feature of the new CARDEAS is their uncompromising adaptability to the listening room. Rear-mounted switches allow the damping quality of the woofers and mid-bass drivers to be adjusted in two stages \u2013 a feature we call Q-SET (bass adjustment)<\/strong> . This allows the speaker to be specifically tuned for placement near walls or corners \u2013 without any significant change in impedance<\/strong> . <\/span>
\nThis is made possible by the use of specially arranged and constructed double voice coils<\/strong> in the woofers and mid-bass drivers \u2013 a technology that is unique in this form so far.<\/span><\/p>\n
