Cambridge L/RX Active Stereo Streaming Speakers Orange

Power, size, and musical honesty define L/RX, our most powerful active streaming speakers. Your music, however you listen to it, completely wirelessly, with an advanced acoustic design featuring an innovative custom tweeter, dual woofer system, and a total of 800W of amplifier power. Speakers that sound much bigger than they look, made for people who truly live with music.

Dynamic sound that feels alive

L/RX speakers bring room-filling authority to larger spaces, projecting music with depth, texture, and presence. Their acoustic system delivers deep bass without an additional subwoofer, along with dynamics that far exceed expectations, while maintaining composure and clarity, no matter where you sit.

Sound that feels alive

Every source improves

StreamMagic delivers high-resolution streaming at the highest level, while an integrated phono stage supports turntables, HDMI eARC connects your TV, and Bluetooth receives your friends’ playlists. Digital crossovers and advanced speaker protection maintain performance even at higher volumes, so you can push the L/RX to its limits on big nights.

Adventurous design that confidently makes its presence felt everywhere.

Bold colors, a floating base, and subtle LED backlighting give the L/RX a confident presence in any room. Its clean, architectural form complements modern interiors while simultaneously underscoring its acoustic prowess—speakers that are deliberately designed, not merely decorative.

StreamMagic Gen 4 takes streaming from Spotify, Qobuz, TIDAL, and Amazon Music to a new level of performance and also supports Roon, Google Cast, AirPlay 2, UPnP, and worldwide internet radio. Developed by our in-house engineers, it offers future-proof, intuitive access to the world of music.

Introduction of the tweeter for detail and depth

Our proprietary 28mm tweeters utilize a double-radius aluminum dome, a specially designed waveguide, and an advanced rear chamber design to deliver uncompromising detail and depth. The result is a highly realistic, extremely wide soundstage in which the speakers seem to disappear, creating a near-holographic listening experience.

Balance in the lower range, where the devil is in the details.

Front-facing and concealed downward-firing 5-inch woofers work together to capture nuances and details down to the lowest frequencies and eliminate distortion. Your music sounds open and natural, as if your favorite artist were right there in the room with you.

Powerful bass without a separate subwoofer

Dual 6-inch passive radiators create a palpable low-frequency foundation, as one would expect from significantly larger speakers, extending down to 35 Hz. They eliminate the need for a separate subwoofer and deliver deep, precise, and powerful bass reproduction that envelops you without overpowering the music.

Discover the complex details of each song

Precise 64-bit DSP signal processing captures even the smallest musical details and preserves subtle sonic textures that are lost in conventional processing. Each filter stage operates with near-perfect computational accuracy, allowing the L/RX to reveal the raw, natural nuances and emotion of every recording.

A match for every moment

Room optimization and wireless WiSA connection for flexible placement, DynamEQ and enhanced protection for quiet moments or noisy weekends, as well as multiroom audio via Google Cast, Roon or AirPlay 2, ensure that the L/RX adapts to even the most demanding situations.

Why active speakers?

Active loudspeakers integrate amplification, tuning, and signal processing directly into the speaker enclosure, creating a system that is optimized as a whole. With fewer components and fewer cables, the L/R series is factory-tuned to work perfectly right out of the box, delivering powerful sound without any guesswork.

Fewer cables, more flexibility

Position your speakers freely and enjoy 24-bit/96 kHz Hi-Res audio with seamless wireless playback, even between speakers.

Additional security? The included USB-C cable ensures a stable, interference-free connection where wireless signals are weak.

Design with presence and purpose

The L/RX speakers combine precision engineering with thoughtful design, creating loudspeakers that command confidence wherever they are placed. Choose from six expressive colors, including a premium walnut finish, and experience a system where performance and design are equally important.

Sophisticated technology for true music lovers

Developed by our in-house team, the L/RX speakers represent Cambridge’s most ambitious work in the field of active loudspeakers. They combine high-quality materials, advanced acoustic thinking, and powerful amplification to deliver a listening experience that is immersive, honest, and lasting.
