Advance Paris X-i1100 integrated amplifier
Advance Paris, the French Hi-Fi manufacturer, presents the latest addition to its CLASSIC range, designed for the discerning music lover. This new integrated amplifier offers numerous technical advantages, confirming our commitment to leaving nothing to chance and optimizing each and every module that makes up this integrated amplifier.
The X-i1100 has six inputs, including a moving magnet phono input, an unbalanced and balanced CD input, a tuner, two auxiliary inputs and a direct “Amp ln” input.
The digital inputs are also numerous: one USB, one AES and six S/PDIF inputs, four of which are optical. The X-i1100 can drive any type of passive loudspeaker with its 220W RMS per channel at 8Ω (400W at 4Ω!), based on a toroidal transformer with 700VA and 60000uF filter capacity.
The DAC has two receivers for digital signals: an X-Mos processor and a USB3318 with jitter correction for the USB input and a Cirrus Logic CS8416 for all other inputs, AES and S/PDIF. The converter chosen, a Burr Brown PCM1796, processes signals up to 192 kHz at 24 bits. Metal-coated resistors and polypropylene capacitors contribute to the high reproduction quality of this integrated amplifier. The amplifier boards, mounted on large heatsinks and connected to the output terminals by cables with a cross-section of 4 mm2, have a triple push-pull per channel, i.e. three pairs of bipolar transistors NJW0281 G and NJW0302G.
The mechanical design has also been carefully thought out: five chambers that form galvanic isolation and contribute to the rigidity of the X-i1100 are integrated into the chassis. The chassis is made of steel with black aluminum side panels and a perforated lid that ensures optimal ventilation of the X-i1100.
