Our CLASSIC 8 floorstanding speaker boasts the same slim silhouette as the CLASSIC 3, but packs a significant punch in terms of power and presence. This is made possible by the additional bass driver, which is equipped with an extra-powerful motor to effectively support the mid-bass driver in the lower frequencies. With this 2.5-way design, the CLASSIC 8 offers ample power reserves to satisfy even in rooms larger than 20 m².

Both chassis utilize diaphragms made of a woven fiberglass material, which, despite its low weight, offers high internal damping, effectively suppressing sound-distorting partial vibrations even at high volume levels. The fixed phase plug of the mid-bass driver further reduces compression effects in the midrange frequencies and contributes to cooling the magnet assembly.

The silk dome tweeter of the CLASSIC 8 sits in a horn-like recess, the shape of which is designed to optimize the dispersion pattern in the transition between midrange and treble frequencies. This is why the CLASSIC 8 achieves a wide and open sound reproduction with very precise spatial imaging, even when listening slightly outside the so-called sweet spot.

Viewed from the front, the CLASSIC 8’s cabinet is just as slim as that of the CLASSIC 3, thus avoiding unwanted sound reflections. Even at 1055 mm tall, the CLASSIC 8 remains a compact floorstanding speaker and boasts an elegant appearance. Thanks to its solid base, stability is guaranteed on any surface. The base also features robust M8 threaded inserts on its underside, allowing for the installation of the optional AUDIO PHYSIC VCF II Vibration Control Feet. These VCF feet protect delicate floors and, more importantly, decouple the speaker from the surface, noticeably enhancing the sound performance.
