Audio Physic Avanti

The goal of our development team was to produce a modern loudspeaker that is equally convincing in terms of appearance, technology and sound.
The AVANTI impresses not only with its elegant appearance – be it in fine veneer or as a high-quality high-gloss glass finish. Much more than that, it combines a multitude of pioneering Audio Physic technologies in its slim body.

This speaker utilizes the latest generation of Hyper Holographic tweeters and midrange drivers (HHCT III and HHCM SL). Thanks to their double-basket design, the moving parts of the drivers – such as the diaphragm and voice coil – have only indirect contact with the baffle. This sophisticated design is rewarded – as with the other models in the Reference line – with an impressively precise, detailed, and neutral sound.
The AVANTI also benefits from targeted reinforcements to the cabinet. Reinforcements made of open-pore ceramic foam reduce partial vibrations of the housing to the lowest possible levels.

Particular attention was paid to the bass, where the strongest forces are at work. The newly developed, high-performance woofer, a 21.5-centimeter long-throw driver, is not located on the side or front of the speaker as is usually the case, but operates invisibly inside the cabinet. Sound is radiated through two tuned openings near the floor. This unusual design offers several advantages. Firstly, the AVANTI’s frequency response extends surprisingly low and remains remarkably well-defined. Secondly, the speaker is less sensitive to placement than conventional designs. Even when placed near a wall, the transducers impress with their sensitivity and clarity across the entire frequency spectrum.

The AVANTI is available in elegant veneers as well as a high-gloss glass version. In the glass version, the speakers benefit even further from the intelligent, three-layer sandwich construction that Audio Physic has already successfully implemented in various other models. This makes the cabinet more rigid, further reducing disruptive partial vibrations. Sound-degrading effects, generally associated with glass, are completely eliminated by the sandwich construction.

The AVANTI’s connection panel is equipped with high-quality WBT nextgen™ PlasmaProtect™ binding posts. These are connected to the resonance-damping aluminum base plate via special structure-borne noise dampers. Here, too, micro-vibrations are effectively dampened.
The AVANTI can be supplied with a bi-wiring terminal ex works upon request.

The sleek crossbars of the AVANTI speakers facilitate setup and guarantee perfect stability on any surface. Thanks to the integrated M8 threads, the Avanti speakers can be easily upgraded with the Audio Physic VCF II M8 Magnetic Plus feet. Their innovative design allows for noticeably improved imaging and sound reproduction. Furthermore, the VCF II Magnetic M8 Plus feet protect delicate floors from scratches.
