Audiolab 6000CDT – CD transporter with slot loading mechanism
The 6000CDT is a dedicated CD player that features the same slot-loading mechanism as audiolab’s flagship 8300CD. Extremely robust and reliable, the player uses digital buffer memory to reduce read errors and is capable of playing scratched and damaged CDs that are unreadable on traditional systems.

The sound from research
The 6000CDT is a pure CD drive (without analogue outputs). With the audiolab slot loading mechanism, the unit uses digital read-ahead buffering to reduce read errors and deliver the highest level of digital signal extraction from a wide range of CDs. It is even able to read scratched and damaged CDs that are unreadable with traditional mechanisms. The onboard digital decoder uses digital coaxial and optical outputs to provide maximum versatility.
The main clock is controlled by a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator, so the digital output has negligible jitter (digital distortion) on both the coaxial and optical jacks.
