Analogue audio connection cable named after the Sydney Harbor Bridge, the tallest, widest and fifth longest steel arch bridge in the world.

Note: In all cables in our Bridges & Falls series, the right and left channels are housed together in one jacket and are equipped with the Asymmetrical Double Balanced geometry with separate high-quality plus and minus conductors. This design enables a thin, flexible and extremely versatile, high-performance cable that can be assembled with a variety of current connectors – such as 3.5 mm (male or female), DIN and RCA. Note, however, that the connectors on the Bridges & Falls cables are necessarily quite close together. If the L and R inputs on your components are more than 7.6 cm (3 inches) apart, please consider models from our Rivers or Elements series.

SINGLE WIRE CONDUCTORS MADE OF PERFECT-SURFACE COPPER+ (PSC+)

Solid conductors prevent the electrical and magnetic mutual influence of the individual strands. PSC+ Solid-Copper reduces distortion due to the presence of grain boundaries and enables maximum linear high-frequency noise dissipation.

DOUBLE-BALANCED ASYMMETRICAL GEOMETRY

Designed specifically for single-ended applications, Double-Balanced Asymmetrical Geometry offers less impedance on the ground for a fuller, more dynamic sound result. While many single-ended cables use a single path for both ground and shielding, double-balanced designs separate both for a cleaner, quieter performance.

THREE-LAYER CARBON-BASED NOISE DISSIPATION SYSTEM (NDS).

Achieving 100 percent shielding is easy. To prevent “trapped” radio frequency (RF) interference from affecting the device’s ground reference, the AQ Noise Dissipation System (NDS) is required. Conventional shielding absorbs noise/RF energy and then dissipates it to component ground; this modifies and distorts the critical ground reference area, which in turn distorts the signal. The NDS “shields the shield” by absorbing and reflecting most of the noise/RF energy before it reaches the ground-connected layer.

POLYETHYLENE AIR TUBE INSULATION

Any solid material adjacent to a conductor becomes part of an incomplete electrical network. Wire insulation and circuit board material absorb energy (losses). Some of this energy is stored and then released as distortion. That’s why PE Air Tube insulation is used for all conductors because air absorbs almost no energy and polyethylene is low-loss and has a benign distortion profile. The PE Air Tube insulation causes significantly less blurring effects than other materials.

COLD WELDED DIRECT SILVER PLATED PURE PURPLE COPPER CONNECTORS

Cold-welded, direct silver-plated connectors made from Pure Purple Copper. The direct silver plating is optimized for the sound. It appears matte because there is no shiny, distortion-causing layer of nickel underneath.
