AVM AS 2.3 All-in-One

In keeping with the tradition and with our accumulated experience since the 1990s in developing compact all-in-one devices with uncompromising sound, the new high-performance integrated amplifier INSPIRATION AS 2.3 was created based on the AVM X-STREAM Engine®. Numerous innovations have been incorporated and the new RC X app also controls the AS 2.3 completely. Device towers and overflowing cable clutter are no longer necessary, all modern connections are available so that a TV can also be connected via HDMI ARC. In order to achieve our goal of constructing one of the best-sounding amplifiers on the world market with the smallest integrated amplifier, we have miniaturized proven sound technologies from our all-in-one flagship CS 8.3 and designed them into a screwless precision aluminum housing that is only 34 cm wide.

The main focus was on a completely modernized app control: The RC X app clearly contains all important functions. The simplest, intuitively learnable operation and a clear and attractively designed user interface make managing even large music collections child’s play. This makes you want to go on journeys of discovery for new music on numerous streaming platforms. The AVM RC X app is available for both iOS (Apple) and Android devices.

The new AVM X-STREAM Engine® can stream all high-resolution formats, including DSD (256). This streaming engine is a complete AVM in-house development and is completely software-based, so that it can be updated online in a future-proof manner. An HDMI (ARC) interface is on board as well as a modern Bluetooth 5.0 connection. Further digital inputs and also a USB A interface are also standard. Another attention was paid to the high-performance phono input stage for MM and MC. This high-precision input stage has been completely redesigned for installation in the compact AS 2.3. This ensures even better sound especially in combination with our ROTATION turntables. Completely new are the digital outputs, which can also be volume controlled. TV devices can also be easily connected and conveniently controlled via the HDMI ARC input.

The AS 2.3 has also made a big leap in terms of pure sound quality. This is based on the use of a 140-watt amplifier stage that effortlessly drives even power-hungry speakers at any volume. The completely new amplifier stages are based on the large CS 8.3 and have been optimized for use in the compact AS 2.3 housing.

The digital section in the AS 2.3 was completely redesigned in the course of the new development, because this crucial part of the AS 2.3 is basically based on our decades of experience. A selected ESS from the new generation (9038 Q 2 M) is now used here as the digital/analogue converter, which is also a clear improvement in terms of sound, which benefits all digital sources and reproduces all high-resolution formats perfectly and faithfully.
