The Conductor 3 Performance impresses with an enormous level of detail and control. Every micro-detail is reproduced in the most natural way. The finest nuances are clearly audible and the tones are accurately represented in the room. In class A operation, the amplifier delivers 4 watts into 16 ohms. It is therefore able to drive demanding and sensitive high-end headphones or active speakers.

The Conductor 3 Performance has a digital coaxial and Toslink as well as a USB-C input. The XMOS USB driver comes from Thesycon in Germany, offers excellent data transfer performance and is compatible with iOS, Android, Windows and Mac. The USB-C input for connecting a computer, notebook, smartphone or music player is located on the back of the device. In this way, music stored on the devices and streaming services such as Qobuz, Spotify or Tidal can be used easily and with excellent sound quality.

Bluetooth with aptX HD support for very high playback quality is also on board. You can also listen to your music wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet or PC in excellent quality. The ESS9038 DAC supports DSD512 and PCM up to a maximum sample rate of 32 bits / 768 kHz. Headphones can be connected to the 6.3 mm jack on the front. There is also a DAC and preamp cinch output on the rear. With the pure Class A circuit design, the Conductor 3 Performance can also be used as a preamplifier and harmonises perfectly with any power amplifier or active loudspeaker. A microphone input is also available, so that you can also benefit from the excellent Burson sound when gaming.

The gray galvanized housing made of high-density aluminum looks classy and is also an extremely efficient heat sink. The OLED screen and the menu navigation allow fast, intuitive user guidance. Particularly practical: the screen display can be rotated so that the Conductor 3 Performance can be set up horizontally or vertically. The solid aluminum rotary wheel on the front allows precise fine adjustment of the volume. A remote control is included in the scope of delivery so that the Conductor 3 Performance can be conveniently operated from the sofa.
