The Conductor 3X GT is the embodiment of Australian company Burson Audio’s spirit of innovation. With an output of 10W balanced and 5W unbalanced, it has the power to drive any pair of headphones and enough inputs and outputs to act as the command center for your audio system. Burson has developed a new output stage for the Conductor 3X GT to take full advantage of the wide range of Vivid op amps. In combination with the proprietary Max Current power supply, the Conductor 3X GT achieves a uniquely detailed musical Burson-typical sound. With its dynamics and the enormous number of micro details, the Conductor 3X GT lets you immerse yourself in the music.
The digital interface, from the XMOS USB receiver to the Qualcomm Bluetooth module, is the most advanced and complete on the market. With a custom driver from Thesycon, Germany, the XMOS USB receiver has unmatched processing power and accuracy for perfectly streaming DSD512 and 32-bit/768kHz audio. Bluetooth 5.0 with support for aptX HD and LDAC ensures Bluetooth playback that exceeds CD quality.
The Conductor 3X GT is powered by five sets of Burson Max Current Power Supplies. Burson pushes these MCPS to the limit of their potential. So much so that they consume 90 watts when idling and need active cooling. An active, quiet NOCTUA cooling system was used for this. Although the Conductor 3X GT can output up to 10 watts, its goal is not maximum power, but maximum purity in sound. The V6 Vivid discrete operational amplifiers are considered among the best in the world and are used in many recording studios. The Conductor 3X GT uses three V6 Vivid operational amplifiers per channel for incredible transparency.
We feel the sound just as we hear it. Before there were headphones, listening to music was always a full-body experience. For this reason, the Conductor 3X GT has a connection for an external active subwoofer. This allows you to hear the detailed, finely resolved sound through your headphones and at the same time feel the bass from the subwoofer in your body. With the Conductor 3X GT you have the opportunity to reach a new level of listening to music via headphones – hear and feel the sound!
