With its powerful and lively playing style, the Conductor 3 Reference from the Australian manufacturer Burson Audio drives your headphones to peak performance. The Conductor 3 Reference impresses with an overwhelming energy. Every detail is reproduced powerfully and vividly, with absolute control and the highest level of accuracy. The powerful amplifier delivers 7.5 watts at 16 ohms in class A operation. It is therefore effortlessly able to drive even the most demanding and highly sensitive high-end headphones or active speakers.

The Conductor 3 Reference has two analog cinch inputs, one digital coaxial and Toslink input each, and one USB-C input. The XMOS USB driver comes from Thesycon in Germany, offers excellent data transfer performance and is compatible with iOS, Android, Windows and Mac. A computer, notebook, smartphone or music player can be connected quickly and easily to the USB-C input on the back. In this way, music stored on the devices and streaming services such as Qobuz, Spotify or Tidal can be used easily and with excellent sound quality.

Bluetooth with aptX HD support for very high playback quality is also on board. The two ESS9038 DACs support DSD512 and PCM up to a maximum sample rate of 32 bits / 768 kHz. Headphones can be connected to the two 6.3 mm jacks on the front. There is also a DAC and a preamp output. With the pure Class A circuit design, the Conductor 3 Reference can also be used as a preamplifier and harmonises perfectly with any power amplifier or active loudspeaker. A microphone input is also available, so that you can also benefit from the excellent Burson sound when gaming.

The gray galvanized housing made of high-density aluminum looks classy and is also an extremely efficient heat sink. The OLED screen and the menu navigation allow fast, intuitive user guidance. Particularly practical: the screen display can be rotated so that the Conductor 3 Reference can be set up horizontally or vertically. The solid aluminum rotary wheel on the front allows precise fine adjustment of the volume. A remote control is included in the scope of delivery so that the Conductor 3 Reference can be conveniently operated from the sofa.
