A powerful headphone or speaker amp, the Funk from Australian manufacturer Burson Audio is perfect for the near-field audiophile or gamer playing their sound in a small studio or from their desk. Thanks to the power supply developed by Burson, the device is able to deliver exceptionally high power for its compact size – 3 watts via the headphone amplifier and 45 watts via the loudspeaker amplifier.
The radio has two power levels and can therefore handle any type of in-ear earphones, headphones and gaming headsets. There are two separately routed outputs for connecting loudspeakers. Sound sources are connected via the cinch input on the back of the radio. The precisely manufactured, elegant aluminum housing is also an excellent heat sink, keeping the class A headphone amplifier and the class AB speaker amplifier nice and cool. Important for near-field listeners: the radio works very quietly and does not disturb you, even if it is right next to you, so that you can fully enjoy the Burson high-end sound.
