The Soloist 3X Performance is a thoroughbred headphone amplifier for anyone who already owns a good D/A converter and wants the best quality for amplifying their headphones or for preamplification. With 8 watts for headphones connected symmetrically via XLR, it offers unlimited power reserves, asymmetrically via jack cable it is also a whopping 4 watts. This means that the Soloist 3X Performance can also operate high-end headphones with a sensitivity of up to 110 dB without any noticeable noise. The result is beautifully clear, dynamic playback with tremendous detail. The pure class A circuit technology from Burson Audio ensures a minimum of distortion and lets the sound develop its full potential. The Soloist 3X Performance uses the versatile MUSE72320 volume control, which creates a phenomenal soundstage. Combined with Burson’s three stages of gain and input buffer stage, the Soloist 3X Performance is a perfect match for any headphone or speaker amplifier.
With its simple appearance, the Soloist 3X Performance is not an extravagant showman, but a headphone amplifier trimmed for sound that lets you rediscover your favorite music.
