It is the veteran and the oldest series from Canton: our Ergo is the epitome of a classic hi-fi loudspeaker with noble ingredients and noble appearance. It has never changed its character over the years and yet the Canton Ergo is up to date. It is constantly being optimized by our developers and constantly equipped with the latest technologies. The timelessly elegant construction scores with the best technical components, its unmistakable design with high-quality real wood veneer and distinctive aluminum front panels and the incomparably good Canton sound. The 2-way bass reflex compact speakers Ergo 620 inspire with excellent sound properties, are suitable for all styles of music due to their balance and visually enhance every living room.

State-of-the-art: its technology
In addition to their classic elegance, the Ergo 620 is characterized by its high level of technical sophistication: the well-engineered and tried-and-tested aluminium-manganese tweeters and high-quality aluminum bass-midrange chassis ensure an accurate sound with impressive dynamics capabilities. The loudspeakers are very solidly built, reinforced several times on the inside and equipped with high-quality internal wiring. Selected crossover components and the strategically placed damping of the housing optimize the sound of the compact speakers, which are 20.5 centimeters wide and weigh 7.5 kilograms. A 174 mm bass-midrange chassis with a light and stiff aluminum cone and powerful drive ensures powerful and precise bass in the optimally dimensioned housing volume. With a depth and a dynamic that is probably unique in this size and price range thanks to the triple-folded wave surround. The perfect playing partner is our sophisticated 25 mm dome tweeter, which scores with its listeners with excellent fine resolution and a detailed sound image.

The compact Ergo 620 models are 34 centimeters high, 20.5 centimeters wide and 27.5 centimeters deep. Like all our loudspeakers, they are manufactured in our factory in Weilrod im Taunus. This is how we maintain the necessary quality standards, minimize tolerances, eliminate any errors and meet the high sound requirements of our loudspeakers. The Ergo loudspeaker models are refined by hand in numerous work steps and at the end of the production they shine in timeless elegance – optionally in the noble real wood veneer variants “Cherry”, “Wenge” or “Ash”. The high-quality aluminum front grille gives the Ergo 620 its own characteristic face. If necessary, it can be removed to reveal the velvet-lined baffle. 24 carat gold-plated, stable screw terminals ensure optimal and long-term stable signal transmission.
