The technology: better than ever
Striving for the best sound means a lot of hard work and the use of the latest technologies. The optically and technically revised GLE loudspeakers benefit from the progress that we are constantly making in loudspeaker development. First and foremost, our outstanding titanium drivers should be mentioned here, which are allowed to move into the current GLE series. Visually, the GLE 10 are inconspicuous, but in terms of sound, they make a significant impression on their listeners. Our aluminium-manganese tweeter system with a 25 mm dome is well-engineered and tried and tested. In the GLE 10, it ensures the finest highs and an enormously detailed sound. The ideal playing partner is the powerful 154 mm bass-midrange speaker with titanium membrane – for precise, crisp bass in the closed housing. In addition, this light and yet extremely stiff membrane ensures a balanced and neutral mid-range reproduction with excellent detail resolution. The mid-bass driver is equipped with a stable polycarbonate basket, powerful magnet drive and the latest generation of triple-folded wave surround, which means that the speaker can play very dynamically with the slightest distortion. The spectrum of the GLE 10 wall-mounted loudspeaker extends up to 40,000 Hertz – thanks to its precisely calculated and optimally shaped waveguide with ideal sound radiation, even to the side of the loudspeaker.
