Our brand-new GLE 50 center speaker wants to be the center of attention: with its two 154 mm titanium mid-bass drivers, it always plays precisely and dynamically in the closed housing. With the support of the 25 mm tweeter with aluminum manganese membrane, it is perfectly equipped to optimize the sound of your home cinema system at home. The technology: better than ever
Striving for the best sound means a lot of hard work and the use of the latest technologies. The optically and technically revised GLE loudspeakers benefit from the progress that we are constantly making in loudspeaker development. First and foremost, our outstanding titanium drivers should be mentioned here, which are allowed to move into the current GLE series. Two 154 mm titanium chassis in a closed housing reproduce the deepest tones clearly and powerfully and guarantee a balanced and neutral mid-range reproduction with excellent detail resolution. They are equipped with stable polycarbonate baskets, powerful magnet drives and the latest generation of triple-folded wave surrounds, which means that the loudspeakers can play very dynamically with the slightest distortion. The perfect supplement comes into play in the form of our sophisticated and well-proven aluminum manganese tweeter system with a 25 mm dome: a precisely calculated waveguide and the optimized 2.5-way crossover enable reproduction of up to 40,000 Hertz – with ideal sound radiation even off the beaten track the main auditory axis.

Due to its harmonious proportions and the attractive housing variants in black, white or Macassar, the GLE 50 Center feels at home in any living environment. The front of the GLE 50 Center is painted matt black or satin white. An adornment for the current GLE series is the black or white fabric cover, which is magnetically fixed to the baffle. It is generously rounded at the corners, giving the center an independent, attractive face. The well-proportioned center GLE 50 can be placed on or in a TV unit underneath a television. Alternatively, it can be brought into play acoustically and visually perfectly as a center on the optionally available speaker stand LS 660. With dimensions of 45.5 x 17 x 30 centimeters, the weight of the solidly built center is 8.6 kilograms.
