The loudspeakers of the GLE series are technically convincing and visually appealing: Thanks to these properties, the attractive and versatile GLE models have been among the most popular loudspeakers in Europe for many years. Now we have completely revised the successful GLE model range – both visually and technically. The strong price-performance ratio and of course the convincingly good Canton sound have remained. The smallest floorstanding speaker in the large model range with a strong price-performance ratio is called the GLE 70. Although the speaker is visually restrained with its moderate housing dimensions, it impresses with a dynamic and mature sound. Three technically excellent loudspeaker chassis on the slim baffle share the acoustic work. Result: unique Canton sound with deep bass, neutral mids and detailed, finely resolved highs.

Now we have completely revised the successful GLE model range – both visually and technically. The strong price-performance ratio and of course the convincingly good Canton sound have remained. The smallest floorstanding speaker in the large model range with a strong price-performance ratio is called the GLE 70. Although the speaker is visually restrained with its moderate housing dimensions, it impresses with a dynamic and mature sound. Discreet optics – powerful acoustics
The 2.5-way loudspeakers GLE 70 have a modern and discreet design. Due to their harmonious proportions and the attractive housing variants in black, white or macassar, the compact floorstanding loudspeakers fit into any living environment. The baffles of the GLE 70 are painted matt black or satin white. An adornment for the current GLE series are the black or white fabric covers, which are magnetically attached to the baffles. They are generously rounded at the corners, giving the floor-standing loudspeakers an independent, attractive face. The well-proportioned GLE 70 bass reflex floorstanding speakers are 19 centimeters slim, 95 centimeters high and 28 centimeters deep. Four device feet integrated in the bottom of the housing ensure a firm footing on the floor.

First and foremost, our outstanding titanium drivers should be mentioned here, which are allowed to move into the current GLE series. Two titanium chassis in 174 mm format reproduce deep tones powerfully and cleanly in the optimally dimensioned bass reflex housing. They are equipped with stable polycarbonate baskets, powerful magnetic drives and the latest generation of triple-folded wave surrounds, which means that the loudspeakers can play very dynamically with the slightest distortion: this is almost unique in this size and price class. The perfect addition comes in the form of our well-engineered and well-proven aluminium-manganese tweeter system with a 25 mm dome: complex waveguides for ideal sound radiation and coupling and optimized crossovers.
