The loudspeakers of the GLE series are technically convincing and visually appealing: Thanks to these properties, the attractive and versatile GLE models have been among the most popular loudspeakers in Europe for many years. Now we have completely revised the successful GLE model range – both visually and technically. The strong price-performance ratio and of course the convincingly good Canton sound have remained. The new GLE series is led by the flagship GLE 90, a powerful and dynamic floorstanding speaker in a 3-way design, which not only puts its excellent sound properties to the test, but also scores with its listeners with an attractive, harmonious design. The finest technology takes place on the slim baffle and creates the unique Canton sound – recently with our excellent titanium drivers, which can move into the current GLE series.

Modern and powerful
The 3-way speakers GLE 90 are both modern and neutral in design and can be integrated into any living environment thanks to their harmonious proportions. They are available in the attractive versions “Black Decor”, “White Decor” and “Makassar Decor” – the baffles of the bass reflex floorstanding loudspeakers are painted matt black or satin white. An adornment for the current GLE series are the black fabric covers, which are magnetically fixed to the baffles. They are generously rounded at the corners, giving the floor-standing loudspeakers an independent, attractive face. The well-proportioned GLE 90 floorstanding speakers are 105 centimeters high, just 21 centimeters wide and 30 centimeters deep. Four device feet integrated in the bottom of the housing ensure a firm footing on the floor.

The technology: Better than ever
Striving for the best sound means a lot of hard work and the use of the latest technologies. Our optically and technically revised GLE loudspeakers benefit from the progress that we are constantly making in loudspeaker development. Precise, powerful bass is the domain of the two 192 mm woofers, which deliver phenomenal depth in the voluminous bass reflex housing. Instead of the previous drivers with aluminum membranes, bass specialists with highly stable titanium membranes are now in use: they can follow fast music impulses even more precisely. We also use titanium chassis in the current GLE series in the acoustically so immensely important midrange. Thanks to the large 174 mm midrange driver, the GLE 90 sound incredibly agile and shine with the best dynamics, excellent resolution and unsurpassed balance. As the ideal playing partner, we use our well-engineered and well-proven aluminium-manganese tweeter systems with 25 mm domes, which are equipped with complex wave guides for ideal sound radiation and coupling and, thanks to optimized crossovers, enable playback up to 40,000 Hertz. The excellent technical equipment of the current GLE generation is further underlined by the loudspeaker chassis with stable polycarbonate baskets, powerful magnet drives and triple folded wave surrounds.
