Dali EPICON 6

The EPICON 6 is DALI’s new reference speaker. Hardly on the market, the hi-fi trade press was enthusiastic about it. Editor-in-Chief Wilfried Kress from the magazine “HiFi & Records” summed it up in his test: “The best speaker the Danes have ever built”. And Matthias Böde from “Stereo” draws the conclusion: “DALI opens a new quality gate and offers excellent technology in exquisite packaging. We should be surprised if the EPICON 6 didn’t become an object of desire – for everyone who wants to live better and hear better.”

The highlight of the EPICON 6 is DALI’s new incomparable driver technology. Equipped with two 165 mm mid-bass drivers and their unique linear drive magnet system, as well as the tried-and-tested hybrid tweeter made of fabric dome and ribbon, which has been specially optimized for the EPICON series, breaks with all existing speaker conventions. Because one of the two bass drivers of the EPICON 6 is already coupled at 600 Hertz and the ribbon is specially designed for the emission of the highest frequencies above 15 kHz, the floorstanding speaker works with a 2½ + ½ way system.

With its impeccable high-frequency and vocal reproduction and the dynamic and precise bass, the EPICON 6 sounds so lifelike that the listener feels like he is in the middle of a live performance.
