The well-known, extremely compact DALI MENUET bookshelf loudspeaker has found numerous enthusiastic owners in recent years who appreciate the gigantic sound given the minimal housing size.
With the MENUET SE, DALI has now launched a special edition of the tiny, successful speaker – with the aim of teasing even more sound quality out of the small housing on the one hand and giving the box an even more elegant look and individuality on the other with a new real wood veneer.
The visual appearance of the DALI MENUET SE is breathtaking. The high-gloss polished real wood veneer called “Wild Walnut” lives up to its name: Thanks to the extraordinary wood structure, each loudspeaker is absolutely unique. The housings are carefully pre-sorted in order to be able to put together optically harmonious stereo pairs.
Each individual DALI MENUET SE is carefully hand assembled and tested by the same DALI employee to ensure the highest possible quality. After the final quality check, each loudspeaker is provided with an individual brass type plate, which also contains the initials of the respective DALI employee.
The MENUET SE works with a 115 mm woofer and a 28 mm fabric dome tweeter. You can find more information about the two chassis under the link above.
Compared to the regular MENUET, the Special Edition’s crossover uses high-quality MundorfTM capacitors that have been carefully selected in extensive listening tests. In addition, the circuit boards of the crossover have a special, particularly high level of electrical insulation, which minimizes interference between the individual components. And the connection terminals on the back of the speaker come from the high-end DALI EPICON series, which guarantees an optimal connection with every speaker cable.
