With its 165 mm (6 1⁄2”) wood fiber membrane, the SMC magnet system and the 10 liter housing, it is able to play more powerfully in the bass range than its little sister. As with the OPTICON 1 MK2, the 29 mm tweeter taken from the CALLISTO series is used as the tweeter. The OPTICON 2 MK2 is the first choice for small and medium-sized rooms in which a high-quality compact loudspeaker can show off its dynamics and reproduction quality.
The OPTICON 2 MK2 is available in the housing versions matt white, black ash and tobacco oak and should be placed either on a stand, on a shelf or on a sideboard.
