It is operated via the large, user-friendly 6-inch color touchscreen on the DMP-A8, the included remote control or via a smartphone/tablet with the Eversolo Control app installed. The Android-based operating system of the DMP-A8 has been optimized by Eversolo for playful, easy operation. Two antennas with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi ensure a long range of the wireless signal. A LAN port is available for a wired Internet connection. This means that many services such as Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify or Apple Music can be used comfortably. With 64 GB of internal memory, the DMP-A8 also offers plenty of space to store lots of music locally on the device. An SSD slot optionally enables flexible storage expansion. If you have CDs and would like to store them on the DMP-A8, simply connect an external CD drive to the DMP-A8. The DMP-A8 rips the albums for you and adds album names and song titles automatically. A Bluetooth receiver is also integrated so that you can stream music to the DMP-A8 from your smartphone, tablet or notebook.

Two AKM DAC chips handle the digital-to-analog conversion and ensure an authentic, captivating sound. You can choose your favorite from six digital filters. Two high-precision femtosecond clocks with ultra-low phase noise and an OPA1612 operational amplifier with an ultra-low distortion value further contribute to audiophile sound quality. The volume control is based on a fully symmetrical analog R2R circuit so that the volume can be regulated precisely and noise-free. A large number of connections, including XLR, Cinch, coaxial, optical, USB and HDMI, enable connection to a variety of devices such as headphone amplifiers, DACs, active speakers, computers, televisions or projectors.
