The CD-1000 MkII is currently the most musical and versatile high-end CD player on the market. Housed in a stylish brushed aluminum chassis, the digital and analog platforms are combined into a single, elegant source. This allows you to play your CD collection or connect a TV or DVD player via the coaxial or optical digital inputs. The CD-1000 MkII delivers a natural, detailed, and powerful sound, making it an excellent match for any high-end system.
The CD-1000 MkII supports gapless playback and is equipped with a high-quality 24-bit/192 kHz digital converter and digital inputs such as S/PDIF coaxial and TOS optical to get the most out of your system.

SMOOTH PLAYBACK

With the JPL-2800 from Austrian Stream-Unlimited, Gold Note uses one of the best drives available on the market as the transport mechanism (tray and drive). Support for gapless playback enables consistent rotational stability, which also reduces speed fluctuations.
The CD-1000 MkII is equipped with a digital volume control for direct control of power amplifiers or active speakers. The CD-1000’s elegant OLED display shows all the player’s information and is easily visible from any angle and distance.

CD-1000 MKII DELUXE / DELUX DSD

The CD-1000 MkII DELUX features the BurrBrown PCM1796 DAC chipset, while the CD-1000 MkII DELUXE features the superior BurrBrown PCM1792A DAC.

The CD-1000 MkII DELUXE DSD features a USB-B input to support high-resolution digital audio, both DSD (up to DSD256) and PCM (up to 32-bit/384 kHz).

UPGRADES
The CD-1000 MkII can optionally be externally expanded to further enhance the high-end sound qualities:
– TUBE-1012 and TUBE-1006 – the external Class-A tube output stages with 6 or 12 vacuum tubes.
– PSU-1250 and PSU-1000 – the practical external super inductive power supplies.
