The DS-10 is a versatile, next-generation, streaming-capable converter featuring a brand-new D/A converter, a state-of-the-art streamer, a stereo preamplifier, and a headphone amplifier. It combines comprehensive networking capabilities with high-resolution Bluetooth and an impressive audiophile-quality headphone output. The DS-10 supports high-resolution files such as MQA and DSD (up to DSD512 via USB) when streaming over the network, further enhancing the resolution at which you can hear your favorite songs. The DS-10’s cutting-edge technology is brilliantly housed in a compact aluminum chassis, making it the perfect complement to a modern high-end system.

HIGH-END D/A CONVERTERS AND STREAMERS

With the DS-10, you can stream via Roon, Airplay, Tidal, MQA, Qobuz, Spotify, vTuner, and Deezer, or access your digital music collection stored locally on a NAS or USB storage device, controlled via our easy-to-use GN Control app on your smartphone or tablet (available for free on iOS and Android). With the DS-10 EVO, you can also stream directly from Tidal thanks to Tidal Connect integration. As a fully Roon Ready streamer, the DS-10 is also compatible with all UPnP/DLNA services and Airplay 2.0. Simply connect it to your network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) and then to your power amplifier or powered speakers, and you’re ready to explore the endless possibilities of high-resolution music.

STEREO PREAMPLIFIERS AND HEADPHONE AMPLIFIERS

The DS-10 is equipped with a high-end preamplifier (switchable on/off) for analog volume control via the remote control, rotary knob, or the GN Control app, thus ensuring the best audio performance. Furthermore, the DS-10 features a professional 6.3mm headphone jack with dual impedance adjustments (high/low) – a proprietary technology developed to get the most out of your headphones. With the additional analog input, the LINE model is the perfect link between the Gold Note PH-10 phono preamplifier and the PA-10 power amplifier.

DIGITAL CHAMELEON CONVERTER

The DS-10 has a unique feature that sets it apart from all other D/A converters and makes it the most adaptable DAC on the market: three different profiles can be selected to fine-tune the converter’s performance. The converter’s behavior can be modified to match the music playback without altering the audio signal, thus maintaining the best audio quality by adjusting the low-pass filter, high-frequency de-emphasis, the current applied to the circuits, and the DSD filter. Adjustments to the electrical profiles can be made in real time, offering a unique listening experience combined with maximum ease of use thanks to the clear menu on the TFT display. AN EXTREMELY INTUITIVE USER INTERFACE

The large 2.8-inch color display allows you to quickly view and adjust all of the DS-10’s functions using the SKC (Single Knob Control) knob on the front panel, the Gold Note remote control, or the dedicated app. The GN Control app also displays all the information stored on the song, including the original resolution format, on your smartphone or tablet. Thanks to the simple operation and clear on-screen menu, all settings can be selected in real time during music playback. Furthermore, the DS-10 EVO’s usability has been further improved compared to the DS-10 with a redesigned user interface that is now even more user-friendly and allows for wireless firmware updates.
