The now hybrid GS1000x continues one of the most iconic headphone designs over two decades, and when combined with X-drivers, new cables and, for the first time, a combination of mahogany and ipê wood, it reaches new heights.

The GS1000x are the first full-featured headphones to take advantage of the larger 50mm X drivers. This new speaker design is specifically tuned to bring out the warmth that mahogany produces. It features a stronger magnetic circuit, a voice coil with a reduced effective mass, and a reconfigured diaphragm. Redesigning these components for our 50mm drivers improves efficiency, reduces distortion and preserves the harmonic integrity of your music.

The Grado GS1000x takes the Grado-typical sound to the extreme: the top model achieves great airiness, enormous attention to detail and truly concert-like dynamics.
