The Opus3 was specifically designed to bring entry-level and mid-range phono cartridges closer together, creating an even tighter cartridge ecosystem. The Opus3 is housed in a maple case. After years of experience with Maple from the Heritage and Statement series headphones, Grado decided it was time to bring it to a turntable. Maple produces a lively and rich sound while remaining consistent and clear. Various thermal aging processes give the housing the ability to better dampen and control the resonant frequencies.

• High Output Cartridge: 4.8mV
