The Grado Signature S950 is a high-end open-back headphone that continues Grado’s tradition of using fine woods. For the first time, it features Brazilian walnut, known for its density and stability, supporting a natural, detailed sound signature.

Design and materials: Each headphone is handcrafted from Brazilian walnut, with each housing’s individual grain unique. Weighing just 395 grams and featuring a redesigned headband with 50% more padding than previous models, the S950 offers superior comfort for long listening sessions.

Technical specifications: The Signature S950 features the new 52 mm S-driver, which ensures precise and low-distortion reproduction. The frequency range extends from 3.5 Hz to 51.5 kHz, with an impedance of 38 ohms and a sensitivity of 117 dB SPL/mW.

Cables and connectors: The headphones feature detachable cables that connect to the earcups via a 4-pin mini XLR connector. They come standard with the Grado Signature Gold cable, which is 1.8 meters long and has a 6.35 mm jack plug. Future cable options with 4-pin XLR and 4.4 mm balanced connectors are planned.

Sound characteristics: Compared to the analytically tuned HP100 SE, the Signature S950 offers a more neutral and balanced sound reproduction. The highs are detailed, the mids smooth, and the bass present without being overpowering, enabling relaxed and natural music reproduction.
