The Arya (Stealth Magnets version) delivers an exceptionally detailed, clear, natural and dynamic sound and gives the listener the feeling of being in the middle of a live concert. The Arya’s bass sounds warm, clear, precise and powerful – but not dominating or bass-heavy. The mids are characterized by a very high level of detail and sound fidelity. With the Hifiman Arya headphones, an ultra-thin foil vibrates to produce the sound. Basically, with Magnetostat headphones, the thinner this film is, the lower the mass and thus the faster the response and the lower the distortion. The film on the Arya is so thin that it is in the nanometer range and cannot be seen with the naked eye. In addition, the Arya has an asymmetrical magnet structure, which means that the magnets on the inside, towards the ear, are smaller than the ones on the outside.

This leads to reduced diffraction effects and thus a sound that is extremely faithful to the original. The Arya also features the stealth magnet design. The special construction of the magnets allows the sound waves to flow through the magnets without generating any interference. This ensures a particularly accurate sound over the entire frequency range. The patented “Window Shade” protects the driver inside the ear cup and maximizes the open design of the Arya headphones. The grille prevents unwanted vibration and distortion and makes the soundstage sound very wide and open.

The 1.5 meter headphone cable is made of crystalline copper in a black braided sleeve. It has a 6.3 mm jack plug and is connected to the earpieces with two 3.5 mm stereo jacks. Inside, the cable has four cores to minimize channel crosstalk. Hifiman has designed the Arya to be timelessly elegant and ergonomic. The comfortable headband is light and easy to adjust in size. The soft, angled ear pads ensure optimal weight distribution – for maximum comfort even after hours of listening pleasure.
