The Sundara Silver from Hifiman is an open-back magnetostatic headphone with a sleek, modern design. The Sundara Silver delivers a natural, balanced sound with vibrant vibrancy that’s a perfect fit for all music genres.
The bass convinces with excellent impulse fidelity and a nice depth. The Sundara’s midrange detail, clarity, and transparency are outstanding, and the velvety high notes are a delight. Voices and instruments are reproduced with great fidelity. The high-frequency reproduction has been tuned to ensure no fatigue, even for long-term listeners.
With a sound pressure level of 92 dB and an impedance of 32 ohms, the Sundara pairs well with a smartphone or portable music player. The Sundara’s cable is therefore equipped with a sturdy 3.5 mm plug. A 3.5 to 6.3 mm adapter is included in the scope of delivery for use on a stationary system. Especially in combination with a headphone amplifier, the Sundara unfolds a thrilling musicality with an authentic three-dimensional spatial imaging.
The headband, earcups and brackets are constructed from lightweight aluminum. This allowed the Sundara Silver to weigh just 342 grams. The headband and ear cushions are made of skin-friendly, breathable material, ensuring hours of comfort.
