The Black Cube II combines the best of our popular Black Cube family: The proven quality of our long-running Black Cube, improved by the high-quality connectors and the representative housing of the Black Cube SE II.

Like its predecessors, the Black Cube II brings out the best in virtually every MM and MC system on the market and elicits the full spectrum of sound of the original recording from your favorite music. Thanks to the extensively configurable bass filter with sixteen different settings, the Black Cube II can be customized according to your sound preferences. Its incomparable dynamics let you rediscover old and new recordings – just like the first time!

Your entry into a new world of sound

The Black Cube II’s highly accurate, passive RIAA filter network is sandwiched between two linear gain stages and is implemented using high-quality, close-tolerance, transient-resistant polypropylene film capacitors. This phono stage offers you the impressive, unadulterated sound of the upper device class at an attractive entry-level price.

Our new classic comes with a specially developed power supply for a high overload resistance. The housing of the Black Cube II made of non-magnetic material (aluminum) is mechanically dampened in the lid. The latest generation of professional input stages ensure particularly precise, low-noise and powerful playback. The audio section contains additional modules for effective hum, HF and noise voltage suppression. Its double-sided audio circuit board enables optimized conductor path routing for particularly trouble-free operation.

The Black Cube II can be flexibly adapted to almost any system: there is one slot per channel for the solder-free assembly of an optional impedance, and there is also an additional, directly effective hard-wire slot. If you would like resistors to adapt your personal system to the Black Cube II, we will enclose these with your order free of charge.

With its high-quality front panel options (silver, black or chrome-plated), the Black Cube II also cuts a fine figure in your hi-fi rack together with Linear & Co. – the ideal entry-level device in this class.
