It therefore has even more power for a particularly complex, impressive and emotional music reproduction. Imagine being able to get even more out of your favorite record: The Black Cube SE achieves this with significantly more authority in the bass, effortless mids and more shine and openness in the highs.

Professional and yet emotional: This is how music becomes tangible

The Black Cube SE belongs to the pinnacle of phono preamplifiers. It goes without saying that only the highest quality components are used for this. For particularly low-noise playback, for example, we use input stages that manufacturers of professional studio electronics also install in their mixers and microphone amplifiers.

Thanks to the maximum gain of 66 dB, practically all systems on the market from high-output MM to MC can be connected to the Black Cube SE. There is one slot per channel for the solder-free assembly of an optional impedance, and there is also an additional, directly effective hard-wire slot. If you would like resistors to adapt your personal system to the Black Cube SE, we will include them with your order free of charge.

The highly accurate, passive RIAA filter network is sandwiched between two linear gain stages and is implemented using high-quality, close-tolerance, transient-resistant polypropylene film capacitors. As a result, impulses, dynamics and timbres can reach the listener unadulterated. The audio section contains additional modules for effective hum, HF and noise voltage suppression. The use of a double-sided audio circuit board also allows for additional ground planes for interference-free operation.

The PWX power supply – compact and full of power

The powerful external PWX power supply is just as compact as the audio section. This allows you to set up the Black Cube SE directly on the disk drive. Any losses due to cable lengths are minimized, and there is no chance of loss of sound. Neutrik XLR connectors with gold-plated contacts ensure reliable contact between the audio part and the PWX power supply, the cable between the audio and power supply is shielded. In addition, the two housings are made of non-magnetic material (aluminum) and are mechanically damped in the cover.
