Lehmann Audio Black Cube Statement
The Black Cube Statement is the entry-level model in our Black Cube series. With the usual high-quality workmanship and the sophisticated circuit design, this phono stage is hardly inferior to its big brothers – and is easy on your budget!
The Black Cube Statement will impress you – regardless of whether you are a newcomer or returning to the high-end sector. Your favorite LPs shine in new splendor and new acquisitions really come into their own. This is how record collecting is really fun again!
Welcome to the world of phono preamps
With an excellent price-performance ratio, the term “entry-level model” is completely redefined. The use of high-quality components from selected manufacturers is a matter of course for us. Even the smallest phono preamplifier in the Black Cube series will captivate you with analog playback. All components are of course designed for durability and reliability.
From the manufacturer Burr Brown we purchase amplifier stages that sound excellent. The passive RIAA filter network uses high-quality, close-tolerance, pulse-resistant film-film capacitors. This enables us to ensure that impulses, dynamics and timbres reach the listener in an unadulterated manner. We use MKP types for bass decoupling between the linear amplifier stages. Furthermore, all electrolytic capacitors are low-ESR types, and all resistors are low-noise metal film types. We only use switches with gold-plated contacts to switch amplification and impedance.
A comfortable all-rounder
Of course, you can use the Black Cube Statement to operate all the systems on the market, from high-output MM to MC. Practical MC impedances can be selected directly. In addition, there is a slot per channel for the solder-free assembly of an optional impedance. If you wish, we will be happy to add resistors to your order to adapt your system to this phono stage – free of charge, of course.
Due to its small dimensions, you can set up the Black Cube Statement very close to the disk drive. This minimizes possible losses due to cable lengths. Incidentally, Lehmannaudio not only pays attention to the selection of components, but also to the subtleties throughout the entire manufacturing process: The housing of the audio part is made of non-magnetic material (aluminium) and is mechanically dampened in the cover.
