The Lyngdorf FR-2 is a floorstanding speaker specifically designed for wall placement, blending seamlessly into any room both visually and acoustically. It is tuned for optimal sound quality when placed close to a wall. The ultra-flat cabinet design, the invisible, downward-firing bass reflex port, and the choice of colors and fabrics allow for easy and space-saving integration into modern living spaces.

Best sound quality through wall placement
The powerful drivers are integrated into a low-profile speaker design that maximizes room acoustics rather than obstructing them. The FR-2 is specifically optimized for in-wall placement, with the woofers positioned as close as possible to the wall behind the speaker. This results in an ideal low-frequency impulse response and surprisingly tight and powerful bass that most floorstanding speakers lack.

Powerful woofers and tweeters
The two powerful 18 cm woofers are equipped with a sturdy, ventilated die-cast basket, an extra-strong and large magnet, and a very lightweight aluminum cone. The soft-touch tweeter also features a particularly strong magnet. This ensures maximum efficiency and a high maximum volume level with low distortion. The highly linear impedance of approximately 4 ohms allows any amplifier to achieve optimal performance. The downward-facing bass reflex port is invisible and always maintains the same acoustic distance from the floor.

Modern colors and interchangeable fabric covers
Not only is the FR-2 designed for optimal sound quality near the wall, the cabinet is also shaped accordingly. The speaker is unusually flat, while the smooth, rounded edges, the baffle that flows into the top, modern satin-gloss color options, and the optional interchangeable fabric covers from Danish specialist Gabriel integrate the FR-2 into any living room. The speaker can be placed on the floor using two feet or, for even more space-saving storage, with four spiked feet and a wall-mounting strap. Or use the optional wall bracket for minimal space requirements. The FR-2 is manufactured and painted in Denmark.
