The Studio 89 is a stylish compact speaker model that incorporates many of the advanced acoustic technologies from the Platinum 3G series and Monitor Audio’s statement speakers, the Hyphn. Two powerful 4 ¼” / 10.8 centimeter RDT III woofers/midrange drivers provide powerful, precise and structured bass that blends seamlessly with the MPD III tweeter. This sound package provides a unique sound with its exceptional clarity in the high tones and outstanding precision in the bass and mid-range.

The Studio 89’s housing is painted in deep high-gloss black and features gold-colored chassis. This is a reference to the legendary Monitor Audio Studio 15, which was the only model in the original Studio series to be produced in this stylish color combination.
