NAD C 399
The NAD C399 combines a high-quality preamplifier with analogue and digital inputs, the innovative HybridDigital™ nCore power amplifiers and a high-resolution D/A converter to form a powerful, universally applicable hi-fi amplifier. NAD’s HybridDigital™ nCore technology, previously only used in the high-end Masters models, makes the C399 the new integrated amplifier flagship of the NAD Classic series. The digital section of the C399 uses a 32-bit / 384kHz ESS Saber D/A converter – the same chip used in the NAD Masters M10 and M33 amplifiers.
The C399 is also the first amplifier to feature the latest generation of NAD’s Modular Design Construction (MDC) technology. This concept, now referred to as MDC2, makes it possible to equip the amplifier with optional modules using slots integrated on the rear, which expand the range of functions of the device, for example with high-resolution BluOS™ multiroom music streaming and Dirac Live® room correction.
