NAD D3045
The NAD D3045 is exactly how a modern amplifier should be: it is compact, energy-efficient, powerful, quiet, supports high-res and is packed to the brim with state-of-the-art features such as DSD and MQA playback. This affordable and versatile amplifier combines NAD’s knowledge and experience in analog and digital amplifier design like no other.
MQA – Studio master quality music
MQA is not a new file format, but an innovative way of packaging large music files with complex coding, efficient compression technology and a digital signature in such a way that even original studio master recordings in 24-bit/192 kHz format can be stored in comparatively small data packages packaged and made available online. For this purpose, the music data is packaged in any container such as ALAC, FLAC or WAV. When playing back via a decoder integrated in BluOSâ„¢, the player completely unpacks the file and returns it to its original format, the studio master file, without any loss.
HybridDigitalâ„¢ – Class D amplifier
The innovative HybridDigitalâ„¢ technology is used in the D3045. This is a self-oscillating Class D amplifier that works with active negative feedback. This first converts the analog curve-shaped input signal into a square-wave signal using pulse width modulation (PWM). The music information is now exclusively in the changing pulse width. Since the power transistors only require two switching states – on or off – Hybrid Digitalâ„¢ Class D amplifiers, in contrast to Class A and B technology, work extremely efficiently and achieve a power yield of more than 90%.
