ORTOFON MC QUINTET BLUE

The Quintet Blue is a very homogeneous pickup.

The sound of the Quintet Blue tends to be more evenly reproduced compared to the Quintet Red and a moderate dynamic strength compared to the Quintet Bronze.

It features a naked elliptical diamond mounted on an aluminum cantilever. The Quintet Blue brings more space, depth and detail to the sound and is a very good choice for any type of music, especially rhythmic music.

The MC Quintet series is in line with Ortofon’s tireless commitment to the most precise and accurate reproduction possible without discoloration:

A special PC thermoplastic material is used to manufacture the case. This lightweight, impact-resistant material is very suitable for injection molding and provides a very durable, scratch-resistant surface.
To achieve optimal performance, neodymium magnets are used.
Due to the low internal impedance, the pickup is less load sensitive and therefore ensures compatibility with a wide variety of preamplifiers and transformers.
MC Quintet Blue adds even more detail and resolution, but in a very balanced way that pays respect to all elements.
