At just 150mm deep, the 7060S is the most compact and slimline subwoofer Q Acoustics has ever offered. A 200 mm woofer vibrates inside, which is driven by a digital 150 watt power amplifier. This guarantees powerful bass reproduction when listening to music and watching films.

Compact active subwoofer that can be used universally in any setup
The 7060S is optically, acoustically and technically matched to the 7000i system, but thanks to its level control and the variably adjustable upper frequency limit it can also be combined with all other stereo and home cinema loudspeakers. A phase reversal switch is also available to ensure optimum bass reproduction from any position in the room. The woofer’s extremely stable and very light-weight cone is protected from possible damage by a sturdy metal grille covered with a fabric that matches the housing colour. The 7060S can also be attached directly to the wall with a separately available bracket.

State-of-the-art digital technology for powerful bass reproduction
“A correspondingly large housing volume is essential for powerful bass reproduction” – this rule rightly applies to conventional passive loudspeakers. But with modern technology, physics can be outwitted: If you combine a high-performance chassis with a digital amplifier and a precisely tuned crossover in an active subwoofer, you can conjure up an amazingly deep and dynamic bass even from a comparatively compact housing. This is exactly what the 7060S offers, so that it can even provide Dolby Atmos or DTS-X home cinema systems with a powerful bass foundation. In addition, this subwoofer is so handy and unobtrusive that two of them can easily be accommodated in one room if required.
