Unique technologies help the Q 3050i to achieve excellent sound quality. HPE (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer) is a technology that equalizes pressure differences in the housing of slim floorstanding speakers. The HPE tubes convert the air pressure generated in the Q 3050i into velocity in order to reduce cabinet resonance and enable a more linear bass response. Thanks to the Q Acoustics P2P (point to point) stiffeners, the new cabinets cause significantly less vibration and thus noise than their predecessors. Sophisticated measurement methods determine exactly the positions at which the housing needs to be stiffened. The result is an extremely precisely staggered sound image.
ELASTIC SUSPENSION DOME TWEETER
An elastic suspension decouples the tweeters of the 3000i series from the baffle and thus protects them from the vibrations emanating from the woofers. This ensures clean high-frequency reproduction with significantly reduced interference from cabinet vibrations.
The mid-bass drivers have membranes made of impregnated coated paper and a newly developed rubber surround that vibrates in a very controlled manner. The cone offers an optimal balance between stiffness and self-damping, which allows it to accelerate and stop very precisely without bending and without unwanted resonances.

The 3000i Series loudspeakers are available in four cabinet finishes: Graphite Grey, English Walnut, Carbon Black or Arctic White. All models have an attractive chrome ring around each chassis and magnetically adhesive front covers and can therefore be perfectly integrated into any living space.
Instead of a connection terminal built into the back of the box, the Q 3010i has a new, particularly flat attachment panel that ensures significantly improved stability of the housing and is still suitable for 4 mm banana plugs.
