Van den Hul D – 501 Silver Hybrid RCA 2x 1.2 meters

The D-501 Silver Hybrid is a special version of our D-501 Hybrid. The main difference to the D-501 Hybrid is that both signal lines are made of high-quality, crystal-clear silver stranded wire.

This matte black, Hulliflex®-sheathed symmetrical cable was specifically developed for the tonearm and mixing console industry: It is extremely flexible and boasts excellent electrical properties. The D-501 Silver Hybrid features very high shielding.
In terms of sound quality, it is one of the best cables in our product range.

The D-501 Silver Hybrid offers the following features:

The two signal lines each consist of 15 x 0.1 mm² high-quality, crystal-clear silver stranded conductors.
The white and red insulation of the signal wires is made of cellular PE. This allows stripping to be done even with fingernails, avoiding damage to the silver strands that often occurs during mechanical stripping.
The resistance per signal line is 11.9 ohms/100 meters.

The capacitance between the two signal lines is a very low 58 pF/meter.

The hybrid shield consists of a dense and high-purity, silver-coated, high-quality Matched Crystal (MC) OFC wire helix (72 x 0.1 mm) with an underlying saturated conductive underlayer made of linear structured carbon (LSC).

The resistance of the shielding is 3.2 ohms/100 meters.

The highly flexible black outer sheath is made of halogen-free Hulliflex® to prevent long-term chemical decomposition.

The markings are repeated every 25 cm (10 inches) to make it easier to cut to the desired length.

The outer diameter of the cable is 4.0 mm.
