Top-level construction – sound in perfect tranquility
The foundation is a meticulously developed multi-sandwich enclosure with an asymmetrical design. Inside, a high-strength honeycomb core combined with multiplex plywood ensures maximum stability, while an outer shell made of glass-elastomer composite material guarantees superior internal damping. This unique structure effectively minimizes cabinet resonances – creating the perfect basis for pure, unadulterated sound.

Chassis generation with new materials and possibilities
The new CARDEAS also sets new standards in sound: all drivers – from the tweeter to the mid-bass drivers – have been completely redesigned. Of particular note is the newly developed diaphragm material : a special carbon matrix fabric (RECOTec) that combines extreme rigidity with high internal damping – for maximum precision, impressive dynamics, and exceptional transparency.

Adaptability without compromise – with Q-SET
Another key feature of the new CARDEAS is their uncompromising adaptability to the listening room. Rear-mounted switches allow the damping quality of the woofers and mid-bass drivers to be adjusted in two stages – a feature we call Q-SET (bass adjustment) . This allows the speaker to be specifically tuned for placement near walls or corners – without any significant change in impedance .
This is made possible by the use of specially arranged and constructed double voice coils in the woofers and mid-bass drivers – a technology that is unique in this form so far.
