INDIVIDUAL REFERENCES MADE OF PERFECT SURFACE COPPER+ (PSC+)

Solid conductors prevent mutual electrical and magnetic interference between individual strands. PSC+ solid copper reduces distortion caused by grain boundaries and enables maximum linear high-frequency noise suppression.

THREE-LAYER CARBON-BASED SOUND REDUCTION SYSTEM (NDS).

One hundred percent shielding is easily achievable. To prevent “trapped” radio frequency (RF) interference from affecting the device’s ground, the AQ Noise Suppression System (NDS) is required. Conventional shields absorb noise/RF energy and then dissipate it to the component ground. This alters and distorts the critical ground region, which in turn degrades the signal. The NDS “shields the shield itself” by absorbing and reflecting most of the noise/RF energy before it reaches the ground connection.

TRIPLE BALANCED GEOMETRY (SEPARAL EARTHING CONDUCTORS)

Our triple-symmetrical geometry uses separate ground conductors, so the cable shield does not act as a low-quality conductor. Regardless of whether the cable is equipped with RCA or XLR connectors, the three conductors ensure equally high-quality, low-distortion signal paths for both positive and negative signals.

Hartzell foam insulation

Hard-cell foam (HCF) maintains the critical conductor geometry. Any solid material near a conductor becomes part of an imperfect electrical network. Cable insulation and circuit board material absorb energy. Some of this energy is stored and later released as distortion. Hard-cell foam behaves similarly to the PE foam used in Bridges & Falls’ lower-cost cables and contains nitrogen inclusions that create air pockets. Because nitrogen (like air) does not absorb energy and therefore does not release energy to or from the conductor, distortion is reduced. In addition, the material’s stiffness ensures that the cable cores do not move relative to each other along the entire length of the cable. This results in stable impedance and further reduces distortion.
