SEMI-SOLID CONDUCTORS MADE OF LONG CRYSTALLINE COPPER (LGC) IN A CONCENTRIC ARRANGEMENT
In a traditional multi-core cable, the distortions caused by the electrical and magnetic interactions of the strands are amplified as each strand changes position within the bundle. In an AQ Semi-Solid Concentric cable, strain is significantly reduced because the strands within the bundle maintain their tight relationships with one another. Long-Grain Copper (LGC) enables a smoother and more transparent sound than cables with normal OFHC (Oxygen-Free High-Conductivity) copper. LGC contains fewer oxides in the conductive material, fewer impurities, fewer grain boundaries and therefore enables better reproduction.
DOUBLE LOW INDUCTIVE TWISTED PAIR GEOMETRY
A traditional speaker cable with parallel conductors has a relatively high inductance, causing the energy to smear over time and the sound to become dull and fuzzy. With the Rocket 11, the two conductors in each half of the cable are twisted around each other, resulting in lower inductance, greater transparency and considerable expansion of the bass and treble frequencies.
IDEAL FOR FULL RANGE OR SINGLE BI-WIRING CONFIGURATION
Use the Rocket 11 with merged red (+) and black (-) conductors as a full-range cable, or optimize system performance with bi-wiring if the speakers have separate bass and treble inputs.
