The Soloist 3 GT is optimized for unbalanced operation with a shorter signal path and fewer active components. By using a higher power transistor, it delivers 10 watts to unbalanced headphones. With its puristic design and enormous performance, the Soloist 3 GT is the ultimate machine for any single-ended audio system.
The Soloist 3 GT is powered by five sets of Burson Max Current Power Supplies. Burson pushes these MCPS to the limit of their potential. So much so that they consume 90 watts when idling and need active cooling. An active, quiet NOCTUA cooling system was used for this. Although the Soloist 3 GT can output up to 10 watts, its goal is not maximum power, but maximum purity of sound. The V6 Vivid discrete operational amplifiers are considered among the best in the world and are used in many recording studios. The Soloist 3 GT uses three V6 Vivid operational amplifiers per channel for incredible transparency. Ordinary stereo volume controls create a lot of interference between channels. This is not the case with the Soloist 3 GT, using a MUSES72320 per channel together with a discrete V6 Vivid Buffer, eliminating any risk of interference.
We feel the sound just as we hear it. Before there were headphones, listening to music was always a full-body experience. For this reason, the Soloist 3 GT has a connection for an external active subwoofer. This allows you to hear the detailed, finely resolved sound through your headphones and at the same time feel the bass from the subwoofer in your body. With the Soloist 3 GT you have the opportunity to reach a new level of listening to music via headphones – hear and feel the sound!
