THE INNOVATIVE MM CARTRIDGE

The innovative design of the Vasari pickup systems was developed using computer modeling and aims for the maximum performance that can be achieved with a magnetic system.
The highly damped, one-piece housing made from a solid 7000 series aluminum alloy and the ultra-lightweight aluminum cantilever, which is inserted directly into the cartridge body to minimize unwanted vibrations, allow the Vasari to extract even the finest musical details from the vinyl groove.

VASARI SHIBATA, THE NEW LIMIT OF MM CARTRIDGES

Thanks to the unique shape of its diamond, invented by Norio Shibata in the 1970s – an evolution of the elliptical shape with additional cuts at one end, creating an asymmetrical hybrid form – the new Vasari Shibata offers a significantly larger total contact area while considerably reducing the pressure per square meter. The Vasari Shibata therefore not only guarantees near-perfect playback by penetrating deep into the vinyl grooves, but also limits wear on both the record and the diamond.
