With The Hemp, Grado Labs has used hemp as the main material for the ear cups for the first time.

The highly compressed hemp creates natural damping between the fibers, resulting in a fuller sound with emphasized bass and smooth treble.

To balance the sound, maple wood was integrated, which was already valued for its acoustic qualities in earlier models.

The specially tuned drivers have been optimized for the new materials through extensive testing. Each headphone is handcrafted in the Grado studio in Brooklyn, guaranteeing the highest quality workmanship.

The Grado The Hemp offers a warm, natural sound with a pronounced fundamental tone, clear mids and rich, defined bass. The highs are detailed without being intrusive. The open design creates an airy, spatial presentation that is particularly impressive for acoustic music and voices.
