Hifiman Sundara Closed-Back Closed-back magnetostat headphones

The Sundara Closed-Back are comfortable headphones for at home or on the go with a finely resolved, lively, spatial sound that meets almost all tastes. The earphone cups are made of hand-picked beech wood, which ensures a good seal from outside noise and a full sound development. Thanks to the closed design, the Sundara Closed-Back allows you to listen to music undisturbed, even in noisy environments. With a sound pressure level of 98 dB and an impedance of 20 ohms, the Sundara Closed-Back can be easily combined with a smartphone or portable music player. The detachable headphone cable of the Sundara Closed-Back was therefore equipped with a stable 3.5mm plug. A 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapter is included in the scope of delivery for use on a stationary system. Especially in combination with a headphone amplifier, the Sundara Closed-Back unfolds a rousing musicality with an excellent three-dimensional spatial representation. No matter which style you prefer, the music is reproduced lifelike, energetic and with all the subtleties over the wide frequency range from 6Hz to 50kHz.

Technically, the Sundara Closed-Back is at a high level. Hifiman’s Stealth Magnets design incorporates a special magnet construction and allows the sound waves to flow through the magnets with significantly reduced interference. This generates a particularly accurate harmonic sound. Hifiman’s NEO supernano membrane is 80% thinner than ordinary membranes, so it reacts particularly quickly and delivers ultra-low distortion for a very detailed, voluminous sound image. Despite the closed design, the acoustic design of the Sundara Closed-Back ensures a wonderfully wide soundstage that is usually only known from open magnetostat headphones.
