Rega PLANAR 1 Plus

With the additional built-in preamp, the Planar 1 Plus can be connected directly to the high-level inputs of any system via RCA (cinch) or 3.5mm jack cable. So you don’t have to buy an extra phono amplifier if the existing devices don’t have a phono input.

This specially designed high-quality MM phono section is based on the multi-award-winning Fono Mini. For use in the Planar 1 Plus, its circuitry should be optimized for the highest quality of reproduction. To that end, we eliminated the USB computer interface and put the effort saved into further improving an already excellent amplifier.

The Planar 1 Plus is therefore suitable for connection as a high-level source, e.g. B. a CD – player. A suitable cable is included for this purpose. The installation of a phono section in the turntable under the tone arm has undeniable advantages. The carefully shielded tone arm cable is connected directly to the preamp and disturbing external influences are largely eliminated.

The Planar 1 Plus has all the well-known advantages of the basic Planar 1 model, such as the smooth-running 24V motor, a precision platter bearing and the hand-made RB110 tonearm with factory-installed carbon pickup.
