The Rega Planar 3 RS Edition (Rega Special) is constructed from a brand new HPL laminate with an aluminium metal finish to create the most rigid Planar 3 level plinth we have ever made. This stunning dark brushed metal plinth with high gloss black trim creates a stunning platform for the iconic Planar 3. The RS Edition includes a custom tuned Neo MK2 power supply , with each motor vibration circuit hand tuned to each individual motor. This low noise 24V motor drives the sub-platter via our Reference EBLT drive belt, ensuring the ultimate in speed control accuracy. Finally, the legendary hand-built RB330 tonearm is fitted and supplied with the brand new award-winning Nd5 moving magnet (MM) cartridge .
